Role

We are seeking a Security Administrator to provide advice, guidance and administration support in all aspects of site security.  A major part of this role is vetting of employees to MOD Standard.  The successful candidate must be extremely accurate, and of course must be very trustworthy as they will be dealing with very sensitive issues.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate all aspects of personnel security vetting process for new starters, contractors and current employees in line with both Company and Government guidance
• Provide first point of contact for all vetting related enquiries and be able to deal with the information efficiently and sensitively
• Co-ordinate all inward visits to site to ensure compliance with both Company and Government procedures
• Co-ordinate all outward visits for employees to ensure compliance with current and Government visit procedures
• Provide advice and guidance to employees regarding release and movement of Protectively Marked Information
• Liaise with UK MOD to arrange suitable clearance for movement of Protectively Marked Information
• Preparation and issue of Company identity badges
• Management of access control system

Essential Skills/Experience

• Previous experience of general office administration
• Previous experience of dealing with customers on a face-to-face basis
• Proven IT skills (All MS office software)
• Good telephone manner and ability to deal effectively with outside agencies
• A checkable work history and background

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Experience of Defence or Aerospace industry
