To enhance the individual career paths of our officers we offer a range of training courses that are unrivalled throughout the security industry.

From basic First Aid as standard, through to the development of sector specific courses and nationally recognised qualifications such as an NVQ in Customer Service and a BTEC in Understanding Counter Terrorism, our training procedure ensures the continual personal development of all our officers. What’s more the majority of training is completed on-site and in line with day-to-day duties.

In addition we provide a comprehensive benefits package and have developed a number of new initiatives such as the Advance Reward Gateway which gives our employees access to over 1,300 discount partners, offering exclusive savings promotions, reduced high street and grocery shopping vouchers and cash back opportunities. 

Other staff benefits include our travel and subsistence scheme, holiday pay above the industry average, contract specific bonus schemes and incentive schemes for the provision of sales leads and suggestions. In addition all personnel have access to our sick pay, healthcare and pension schemes. All employees are kept fully informed and engaged with the business via a number of communication mechanisms including a free dedicated employee helpdesk providing assistance with employment issues, regular staff newsletters and updates, regular team meetings and a bi-annual employee satisfaction survey. In addition employees are encouraged to register any issues or suggestions and our incentive and suggestion schemes reward staff who put forward ideas for the continual development of our business.  

And we don’t stop there. We have extended our management training to include rigorous assessment centres, have rolled-out director coaching across our business, and have introduced Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) level 5 training; a course currently only delivered by Advance within the security industry.
